Today, two friends and I had the pleasure of fishing on the JIB VI. We had not been fishing out of Captree in many years. The JIB VI was clean and the crew amazing.

Special thanks go out to Joe who was extremely helpful, courteous and personable. He added to our enjoyment of this fishing trip.

Even though we only caught "throw backs", we had a great time and look forward to fishing on the JIB VI again.

My Wife and I fished off of the Jib VI this past Sunday from 1pm through 11pm and had a great time. While the catches were generally small, we enjoyed the one single Blue for dinner on Tuesday. Ten hours, one fish. That was one tasty fish.

Anyway, you definitely have the most informative website I've seen from any charter, so I figured I'd send a few pictures along and see if you might have some use for them. I'll be back next Sunday morning for some more fishing, thanks again!

Greetings JIB VI Crew!!

A quick note to tell you what a great time we had on Father's Day. My father, Paul, and I, along with his brother, Vincent, have been Father's Day regulars for more than a decade usually accompanied by a variety of other siblings, grandchildren, and cousins. Before my Dad's father passed some years ago, he was also part of the yearly tradition. While we often do not catch any keepers, we go mostly for the companionship and the tradition. We laugh a lot, poke fun at each others Sea Robin and Skate catches, and support those who turn a little green. The JIB VI crew is so eager to be helpful and have a great sense of humor. They have gotten us out of so many tangles over the years! Last year, I actually caught two keepers, and this year, my cousin's 11 year-old daughter, Victoria, caught the boat/dock pool winner! What a thrill it was to watch her work her hardest to bring that catch in almost without assistance! She smiled for the entire rest of the day and I am sure she enjoyed sharing her story with her schoolmates during her last week of school. No doubt, we have "hooked" another fisherwoman for life! I enthusiastically look forward to next year's excursion!

Me and my family went out on your boat today and even though we didn't catch much, had an excellent time. Your deckhand, Paul was very nice and even posed with my son and his fish for a picture. I'm very interested in going out again so if you could let me know how you guys are doing out there I would appreciate it. Thank you very much.

Just wanted to drop a line that we did indeed fish on the Jib VI that weekend (July 11) and had a great time. The weather was beautiful, the boat was comfortable, the mates were very very helpful and patient with us. Too bad the fish weren't biting (for us), but we still had a fun time. I went fishing with you on Saturday afternoon and although the fishing could have been better - I want to say how pleased I was with your efforts to put the paying customers on the 'right spot'. Your effort was truly 100% as that of the mate. The weather was nice though cool, the boat is in super shape (very clean). BOTTOM LINE: The trip was a pleasure. I live in Pennsylvania so my trips to Long Island are few, but the next time I visit Captree - I will definetely go fishing with you again.
